Medicare Therapist

Supportive, experienced therapy for Medicare clients.

Finding a therapist who accepts Medicare can sometimes be challenging. I provide online therapy for Medicare clients who are navigating anxiety, depression, relationships, life transitions, trauma, grief, or simply feeling stuck. Together, we can slow things down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and work toward meaningful change.

Luke Schlimme, LCSW, online therapist who accepts Medicare

Online therapy with a Medicare therapist

Medicare can make therapy more affordable and accessible. I accept Medicare and provide secure online therapy, allowing you to meet with me from the privacy and comfort of your home.

Online therapy can be especially convenient if transportation, mobility, distance, or simply fitting appointments into your day makes getting to an office difficult. We can meet consistently while still building the personal connection that is at the heart of good therapy.

LGBTQ+ Concerns

Affirming therapy for LGBTQ+ adults navigating identity, relationships, family, aging, and life changes.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, conversational, and collaborative. I don’t believe therapy should feel like you’re talking while someone simply sits back and takes notes. I’ll listen carefully, ask questions, offer perspective, and help you notice patterns that may be difficult to see on your own.

I draw from several therapeutic approaches and tailor our work to what you need. When appropriate, I also use EMDR to help clients work through trauma and experiences that continue to affect them. My goal is to create a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself while also doing meaningful work toward change.

Therapy that accepts Medicare

I accept Medicare for therapy, which means you may be able to use your Medicare benefits for our sessions rather than paying the full cost out of pocket. I provide secure online therapy for Medicare clients.

Before we begin, we can confirm your Medicare coverage and discuss any deductible, coinsurance, or other out-of-pocket costs that may apply. My goal is to make the process as straightforward as possible so you know what to expect before starting therapy.
